CHD (Forwarding) have a dedicated sub contract fleet of 44 tonne plated vehicles, available at all the main UK container ports. Services available include the provision of tipper trailers and side lifters.
Over the course of the several years we have built close relationships with our carriers, and this has meant we are now able to offer a tailor-made service meeting our clients specific requirements.
All our sub contractors are contactable 24 hours a day, enabling us to advise of any delays prior to the allocated booking time at the designated delivery point.
Our haulage department also offers a price comparison service enabling our clients to obtain the most-effective service whilst meeting their requirements.
We also offer in Felixstowe, a partial container devanning service for containers shipped at a weight that exceeds the UK maximum gross vehicle weight of 44000 kg. This service is performed outside of the dock estare, utilising our own labour.
